FAQ
What is your process?
I keep things simple. You book a shoot with me via email or text (I do handle all the communication myself), we set time and date, discuss your makeup and hair (wether you need it or not), your wardrobe and other details, you show up and we shoot. I am not a fast food photographer, I believe in connecting to people and create something together. Everyone is different to me and the process is also very. Bottom line, my job is to get you the best headshots in your life.
Do you shoot digital or film?
I shoot digital and use the best studio equipment and have all you need to get great headshots.
How many photos will I receive?
After we're done with the shoot I will be processing your images, doing a primary selection and the color correction and you will get ll of them excluding the ones with eyes closed etc. That usually takes up to 5 business days. Then you'll get all of them in 1200 pixels, at 1800 per inch (PPI) and they will be ready to use. After you will be choosing 3 favorites for me to edit, which is included in a shoot fee. Every additional edit will be $35 per picture.
Do I need to have my hair and makeup professionally done?
This is all optional. I do love a natural look, but if you want pro hair and makeup, I have good people to do it for you. Since my studio is at my house, my clients do their hair and makeup in my living room with a view to the Venice Canals but you also welcome to come with your own hair and makeup.
Where are you located?
My studio is on the Venice Canals, Venice, CA. We have one parking spot available, great view and ocean within 5 minutes walking.
How long does a shoot last?
Headshots are easy and quick. We need to get you 3-5 perfect images that you would be able to work with. It could take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1,5 hours of shooting, not including hair and makeup time.
Do you do group sessions?
Yes! That is my favorite and I do give group sessions discounts. My studio opens up to a great outdoor living room with a bar, fire place, lounge area and the best possible view on the Venice Canals, so group sessions can not only be cheaper but also a lot of fun.
Do you shoot outside or can we shoot something more than headshots during the session?
We absolutely can. It comes with an additional cost and should be discussed prior so I have time saved for it and we can add some creative portraits, play fashion and even go on our roof, walk on The Canals or to the beach.
Do you shoot tethered?
Yes, you will be able to see images on a screen as we shoot.
Do you do video?
I have an amazing videographer upon request.
Why should I pick you?
I believe I am pretty different from other photographers, I have a different process. I do love photograph people because I love connecting with them and see them my way, but also not pushing my vision, but try to actually see them. This takes time, energy and skills. And I'm up for it. Not once I've heard that there's something different (in a good way) with the way I do photography and I tend to believe it by now. I just love it. I love showing people how pretty they are.
